Presented by Don Whiteman at Sydney Observatory

Choosing the right eyepiece for your telescope doesn't always mean the most powerful, which is what many people think. In my talk I will look at all the consideration when choosing the right eyepiece for observing different objects in the night sky so as to enhance your viewing experience.
Bio
I have worked as a telescope technician for over 35 years, at Celestron and Meade in the US and at Bintel in Sydney and Melbourne. I have designed and built telescopes for myself, amateur astronomers, as well as specialised telescope used in research and military facilities. I am currently building a 35cm custom design scope for myself. In my career I have written and had published 50 plus articles on telescope design, eyepieces and filter as well as many observing articles.
